Fazer is Finland’s most popular employer among business professionals. This was revealed in the Professionals 2011 survey conducted by Universum which involved over 2,000 professionals in the fields of business, engineering and IT.
The survey studied the image these professionals had about employers in Finland. Business professionals chose Fazer, Kone and Finnair as their ideal employers. Fazer’s rank improved from the 2nd place it had the year before. Among engineering professionals, Fazer’s rank climbed from 27 to 13.
‘Our good ranking in the survey tells that professionals appreciate working in a family company which works with leading brands, long-term and in a responsible manner,’ says Mika Videman, HR Director of Fazer Group since August 2011.
‘Motivated and skilled employees who are well led are among Fazer’s success factors. We need professionals who are able to co-operate and renew and, increasingly, have international skills,’ continues Videman.
40 per cent of Fazer’s in total 16,500 employees work in Finland and create taste sensations in the bakery, confectionery and food businesses.
