Gateau is an artisan bakery and confectionary from Stockholm with ancestry from 1937. We bake our bread according to traditional French recipes with sourdough, just like our role model Poilâne in Paris. The best French patisserie is our inspiration for Gateau’s pastries. The love for the craft and the French inspiration along with traditional Swedish and Finnish recipes is what has created today's Gateau. Our bread and pastries are baked in our bakeries in Stockholm, Lund, Gothenburg and Sörnäinen.
